The Washington Historical Society was formed in
2000, by a group of citizens who share a common interest in the history of
Washington. We are a non-for profit group who's membership is open
to anyone who is interested in learning about the history of Washington or
share memories of the past. The historical society meets monthly at
the Washington Public Library on Carlton Avenue. Anyone who is interested
in joining the society or looking to find out about the history of
Washington, is encouraged to attend our monthly
meetings.
